Kali casts each of its productions and readings individually with professionally trained actors. We do not have a regular ensemble.

We cast approximately 8 weeks in advance of the start of a production and 4 weeks in advance of a reading.

We usually cast directly from Spotlight or via agent recommendations in response to callouts from Spotlight.

Actors of South Asian descent are welcome to submit their cv and a Spotlight link. We will add this to our database which we consult when casting. We have a policy of trying to include actors unknown to the company in our auditions for each project. Please send your details to casting[@]kalitheatre.co.uk

Producers and casting agents for theatre, film and TV who are casting actors of South Asian descent for professional paid projects are welcome to send their casting call to us and we will distribute this to our South Asian actor database.
